Qualifications for Czech Championship 2017
Unbelievable has happened (I hope) and we have qualified with Chase at the Czech Republic Championship in agility!
This is not confirmed yet, but according to the last tables we are really qualified!
The last qualifications have been very exhausting. 4 qualifying weekends at 3 months were really very demanding. We waited for a very warm weekend, and according to the preparatory startups I found out that we started all the runs with Chase, and after examining the prepared course Saturday morning, it made me a little wrong. I do not appreciate the difficulty of courses (on the contrary, some are a great challenge for further training), but above all, meaningfulness and, above all – safety. And to judge the judge in my opinion did not really manage to lead the dog, without the possibility to let him take the whole step so that it does not fall into another obstacle, etc … it does not have a place in today’s agility. That’s also how our “performance” looked.
Fortunately, we’ve made the next run clean – video. I can not boast of it because I was so terribly safe and stressed that it also happened – 6th place. But thank God for the points!
On Sunday, the first bar fell, and then we did not fully understand the agility course, and jumping did not work out exactly one obstacle Chase unfortunately went from another side.
Actually I felt miserable – so much work, since January, completely rebuilt a-frame and see-saw (which, by the way, was great), work both physically and mentally, but luck did not come. That was the only thing that was lacking in the running, we were always a bit of success.
But we were lucky at the end! My friend Bára has been writing a few messages that do not make much sense to me after a couple of days, but whatever it is, it obviously was good news! And it really does – we have qualified for the CZECH REPUBLIC CHAMPIONSHIP! I almost hit the champagne! Just one clean run was enough! Amazing, perfect, I have no words like I’m so glad! So we’re going to try not to make a shame here!
