Moravia Open 2018

It was the first international competition for me and Chase, and I think we were definitely not lost in the competition! 🙂

On Friday, we went to the LA3 exams after a huge thunderstorm that drove through the Rožnov area and it was not far (maximum one meter) to finish it well. Unfortunately, I did not get enough, so the refusal and disq. Before and then it was a beautiful run! You can see that on my Instagram!

On Saturday, we ran a beautiful open from Tamas Tráj in awesome time (5th best) – unfortunately we left three bars there. In the second open from Svetlana Zolotnikova, I did not handle Chase sufficiently, so he take another obstacle – DIS. And last Saturday’s run was jumping from Bernd Huppe, where two bars fell and unfortunately the last bit of long jump, but great time again – the 5th best.

On Sunday, we also lacked a bit of happiness. Morning jumping from Tamás was a hurdle for me, because I simply get lost there 😀 Agility from Bernd came out beautifully until I run faster and I didn’t call Chase properly from the tunnel, so there was a disqualification. We made the taste in the last agility from Nicolaus Renauld, where there were again two bars and pieces of wall (I stood there), but again it was the 4th time!

We certainly have something to train, the bars and bugs were really many. On the other hand, Chase’s ability to compete in time with the European Top is incredibly charged! Even though there is still no running dogwalk and I am not sure about his slalom in competitions lately, those times are incredible!

Now, just drop the error rate, train and enjoy at the beginning of August at Border Collie Classics in Slovakia! 🙂

So next year again in Rožnov! 🙂
