Switzerland 1/2018
After my last seminar in Switzerland, I was asked to lead others 🙂 It is a great honor and great experience for me!
This time it was 3 whole days of agility and one block of tricks, exercises and dog’s behavior.
For the first two days I had the privilege to lead a seminar in the newly opened, absolutely unbelievable “Swiss agility hall” in Munzungen. Hat down in front of the owner. This is a three-storey hall with indoor and outdoor parking. On the first floor there is an incredible space with artificial grass divided into three training courses, which are equipped with three sets of obstacles (of course the best you can buy on the market :)), the first floor has a mezzanine, where there is a beautiful wooden tribune. Upper floor there are also three training courses with artificial grass, again fully equipped with agility obstacles and everything else you need for obedience. And of course the entire hall is fully heated 😀 I did not believe my own eyes! Working here is a dream!
On the agility lessons I led both full beginners and advanced, competing teams in cat. A3. We solved the theory (handling system, contacts, focusing games, …), so they did well, I think, very nice courses 🙂 – I mean especially safe and courses, where there are many possibilities of handling to show us differences.
The next day we spent half in an agility tent, where it was again very similar – great equipment, surface, only heating was missing 😀 but it was really the first and the last thing that was missing. In the afternoon, we moved to a block of tricks at the physio-clinic of our friend Danielle, who is a great physiotherapist and owner of this clinic. We had all the tools available, even those I did not even know that they existed 🙂
The last day we moved to the “blue hall”, again great obstacles and the fine surface (this time the artificial grass had a completely blue color). In the morning, I did the last agility training, and in the afternoon I attended a Hoopers seminar led by Nadine Hehli, where I learned a lot of new and very useful things 🙂
I enjoyed the whole stay, the girls cared very well of me, we had excellent food, we managed the birthday party of their friend who was also one of the participants in my seminar 🙂
It was simply great, and I’m looking forward to continuing in May now!
And as the last and greatest bomb is that I was letting go of the girls to “help” at their big clicker-seminar and I will lead my part in German .. no “Good luck” I would say 😀
