TRAY – CZECH CHAMPIONSHIP 2022 – TEAMS

So that was a ride!  Tray had a two month break from competitions, there was very little training (at the beginning of August he had a bite, so he extended his break). I didn’t expect anything … or rather – I expected everything. With Tray you never know what frame of mind he’ll start in, it’s always quite a surprise and I have to be prepared for it (it doesn’t always work out). 

We had a great team – all experienced and absolutely amazing girls. I just hoped we wouldn’t mess them up too much. And it worked out exactly halfway. We won the jumping in style! Unreal!

It also meant we started last in agility. The course was beautiful, but wow, am I even going to run it?  Due to the non-runnability of the others, I opted for the safer option for us in one passage and unfortunately – Tray worked like clockwork and was so accurate that I pulled him too far, he missed the obstacle and followed the disc. The team’s next disc meant all hope was lost. And yes, it’s too bad because it was really terribly close (Darja and Bara only had 5 tr. b). But! I am incredibly pumped and so grateful that we got to experience it together!
